AmpliTech Surges 10% on Record Revenue, Eyes $50M Future

The communications equipment maker announced preliminary 2025 revenue more than doubled, driven by strong demand in 5G and satellite hardware.

Shares of AmpliTech Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMPG) surged nearly 10% in Tuesday trading after the company announced preliminary, unaudited full-year 2025 revenue of a record $25 million, a 163% increase over the prior year. The company also reaffirmed its ambitious guidance for fiscal year 2026, projecting revenues will hit at least $50 million.

Investors responded positively to the news, sending the stock up 9.7% to $3.28. The Hauppauge, New York-based company designs and manufactures specialized signal amplifiers that are critical components for the satellite communications, 5G infrastructure, defense, and quantum computing industries. The robust revenue figures signal that large-scale agreements are beginning to translate into significant top-line growth.

The preliminary results, detailed in a company announcement, mark a pivotal moment for the small-cap tech firm. The $25 million revenue figure for FY2025 not only represents a dramatic year-over-year increase but also exceeds the company’s entire trailing-twelve-month revenue of approximately $22.6 million.

In its statement, AmpliTech attributed the performance to accelerating customer demand and disciplined execution. A key factor has been the start of production shipments for its Open RAN (ORAN) 5G solutions, a next-generation approach to building mobile networks. The company noted that shipments under a previously announced $100 million Letter of Intent began in December 2025, validating its technology and its ability to secure a foothold in the competitive 5G rollout.

Looking ahead, AmpliTech expressed confidence in maintaining its growth trajectory. The company reaffirmed its FY2026 revenue guidance of "at least $50 million," which would represent 100% year-over-year growth from the new record base. This continued expansion is expected to be fueled by ongoing 5G deployments and the company's role in supplying ultra-low noise amplifiers for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellations.

With a market capitalization of approximately $68 million, the confirmed roadmap to $50 million in annual revenue suggests a significant growth phase. Wall Street appears to see further upside, with analyst consensus pointing to a target price of $9.00, more than double its current trading level. As AmpliTech continues to convert its backlog and engineering pipeline into delivered products, investors will be watching closely to see if the company can maintain its aggressive growth and capture a larger share of the advanced communications market.
