Ondas surges on record revenue, lifts 2026 outlook to $375M
Autonomous systems growth drives 7-fold revenue guidance increase as backlog triples
Ondas Holdings Inc. shares advanced sharply after the company reported record fourth-quarter revenue that shattered analyst expectations and dramatically raised its 2026 outlook, signaling accelerating momentum in its autonomous systems business.
The wireless and robotics technology company reported fourth-quarter revenue of $30.1 million, crushing the $7 million consensus estimate and representing a 629% increase from the same period a year earlier. For the full year 2025, revenue reached $50.7 million, reflecting 605% year-over-year growth.
"We delivered exceptional revenue growth in the fourth quarter and full year 2025, driven by strong execution across both of our operating segments," the company stated in its earnings announcement.
The standout performance came with gross margins expanding to 42% in the fourth quarter, up from 40% for the full year, demonstrating improved operating efficiency as the company scales its business.
Perhaps most strikingly, Ondas raised its 2026 revenue guidance to at least $375 million, representing nearly a seven-fold increase from 2025 levels and more than double its previous outlook. The company set first-quarter 2026 revenue targets of $38 million to $40 million, which would represent approximately 820% year-over-year growth.
The company's backlog surged to $68.3 million at year-end, a 237% increase from the prior quarter's $20.3 million, providing strong visibility into future revenue. Ondas ended the period with approximately $1.55 billion in cash following a January capital raise, giving it substantial flexibility for strategic initiatives.
Ondas operates through two primary segments: Ondas Networks, which provides its proprietary FullMAX software-defined radio platform for mission-critical industrial connectivity, and Ondas Autonomous Systems (OAS), which delivers AI-powered defense and security platforms including autonomous drones and counter-drone systems.
The OAS segment has emerged as the primary growth driver, targeting defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure clients with products such as the Optimus System autonomous drone platform and Iron Drone Raider counter-drone technology. The company has expanded its autonomous capabilities through strategic acquisitions in unmanned ground vehicles and advanced propulsion systems.
Wall Street analysts maintain a Strong Buy consensus on Ondas, with an average price target of approximately $18, suggesting significant upside from current levels. The analyst community has been increasingly focused on the company's transition toward becoming a pure-play defense robotics and autonomous systems company.
Ondas Networks continues to provide stable foundation revenue through its FullMAX platform, which delivers secure, reliable broadband connectivity for industrial IoT applications across rail, energy, and government markets. The technology is based on the IEEE 802.16t standard and is designed to overcome bandwidth limitations of older private wireless networks.
The company's aggressive guidance raise reflects confidence in its ability to execute on its growth strategy, which includes expanding market penetration in defense and security applications while leveraging its substantial cash position for potential acquisitions and strategic investments in the autonomous systems space.
Investors will be watching closely for updates on the company's progress toward its ambitious 2026 targets when it reports first-quarter results, particularly any commentary on the conversion of its substantial backlog into recognized revenue and the pace of new contract wins in the autonomous systems market.
